How to configure length of Document and URL Dataslot Types

Savvion supports a length limit for the Document's name for Document dataslot and URL address in a URL dataslot. The maximum length for the name of this dataslot is 256 characters. The value is not displayed or truncated if the name of the document or URL address exceeds 256 characters.

You can change the default length of this dataslots from savvion configuration file named DatabaseMapping.xml.

Go to SBM_HOME/conf/resources/common/DatabaseMapping.xml file which contains the mapping for all the data sources. Go to the database tag in the xml file for the database that you are using(eg. ) and you can modify the default length value of the Document or URL parameters you require.
